- Responsible for the maintenance, repair and efficient operation of the roof-top HVAC units.
- Maintenance includes the chemical treatment and testing of all closed water systems and required record keeping.
- Routine duties include the operation and maintenance of all electrical, pneumatic, and digital control systems as related to the HVAC systems.
- Additional duties include general Facilities tasks such as the repair and maintenance of: buildings and grounds, furniture relocation, general equipment repair and maintenance and snow removal.
- Facilities technicians also provide after-hours coverage via the “on-call program.” This is a 7-day, 24 hour, on-call status requiring the technician to promptly respond to alarms or after hour requests within 20-30 minutes at all PVCHC sites. PVCHC uniform required when responding to alarms or after hour requests.
- Operates corporate and/or personal vehicles, if applicable, in a safe and professional manner at all times. Travels to any/all of Peak Vista’s facilities as needed.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent education. Associate degree in HVAC Design & Maintenance preferred.
Work Experience: Three years’ experience in the operation and maintenance of HVAC equipment required.Computer Skills: Basic – ability to access the intra/internet to manage timecard, review policies and procedures, and read company communications; use e-mail to communicate with co-workers, leadership, and other departments; enter and correct data, modify a workbook, format a worksheet, and use printing functions; create a simple presentation in PowerPoint, run it, and print itCertificates and Licenses:
- Valid Colorado driver’s license, a clean driving record, and insurable by Peak Vista insurance carrier.
- Applicants must be at least 21 years of age or older to be an eligible driver on behalf of Peak Vista.
- The Facilities position requires that all technicians own and maintain a dependable and reliable vehicle as a condition of employment. This is required in order to fulfill the on-call requirements. Additionally, technicians are periodically required to use their personal vehicles as part of their normal duties.
