- Assists the Dean of Students with organizing and implementing field trips, athletic events, and inter- or intra- school activities.
- Coordinates with CREATE Manager in the facilitation of special programming, making sure that a 'specials' schedule is accurate and up-to-date, and that any rooms, outdoor space or equipment have been reserved.
- Support the Dean of Students in coordinating the logistics for meetings, assemblies and events held in the Hobbs Center auditorium or elsewhere on the UYI campus.
- Work together with the Director of Operations to ensure the smooth, safe and efficient morning student pickups.
- Works with the UYI Volunteer Coordinator and HR Administrative Assistant to set up the CCA volunteer program.
- Develop and maintain a database of school volunteers, their skills and availability.
- Schedule and assign volunteers for specific tasks and events.
- Provide training to volunteers and ensure they understand their roles and responsibilities.
- Monitor volunteer activities and provide feedback and support as required.
- Assist in planning and organizing volunteer appreciation events.
- Administer the Early Care program.
- Coordinate with staff to create and organize a daily schedule.
- Ensure proper supervision of children for the duration of Early Care.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for children to play and learn.
- Coordinate the National School Lunch Program and schedule Lunch sittings for students.
- Manage the receiving of the lunches in the morning, temperature checks and all documentation.
- Plan and execute lunchtime student rotation schedules and staff & volunteers required.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Support the Principal and Dean of Students in various requested projects & administrative work.
- Is the designated person to shop on behalf of the school for daily and weekly items.
- The school is functioning smoothly & efficiently.
- Special programming, field trips, athletic events and intra & inter- school activities are well organized.
- Volunteers and contractors are welcomed and supported in their roles.
- The Early Care program is well run, safe and secure.
- The school lunches are well-organized, functional and fulfill the concept of nutritional value.
- Be able to articulate effectively the challenges, opportunities and organizational direction of the efficient and effective functioning of on-campus and off-campus policies and procedures.
- Be friendly and supportive, while at the same time foster compliance and the importance of on schedule event planning.
