1. Work closely with the Bank’s Operations Officer and Deposit Operations Director, as well as the Bank’s Anti-Money Laundering team, Finance, Compliance, and Technology teams, to ensure a deposit fraud prevention program is designed, stood up, and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
2. Oversee, monitor, and maintain the Bank’s fraud prevention program, including policies, procedures, and tools.
3. Provide subject matter expertise on data and fraud analysis techniques.
4. Coordinate and optimize fraud prevention solutions with third party vendors and affiliates as needed.
5. Assist in pre-program implementation planning and project management, including user acceptance testing for new and updated systems and service providers.
6. Assist in the preparation for deposit-related audits and examinations and provide support for these activities while in process as well as any post-audit or post-exam remediation responsibilities.
7. Oversee and train customer support staff, quality check customer service communications and processes, and handle escalated customer issues and concerns.
8. Other initiatives, special projects, and duties as assigned.EDUCATION:
Minimum of Associate’s degree, or equivalent work experience. Will consider a variety of majors including but not limited to: accounting, criminal justice, business administration, fraud management, economic crime or a similar major. Consideration given for Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) credentials, but not required.EXPERIENCE:
1. 5+ years of online deposit fraud prevention experience
2. Financial institutions and online deposit platforms
3. Deposit operations customer service management
4. First line compliance testing and risk management
5. Knowledge and understanding of banking regulations, including in depth knowledge of Regulation E
6. Project and vendor management
7. Must possess ability to engage others and to work collaboratively with all departments across the organizationCOMPETENCIES – SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES:

6. Experience with development of policies and procedures
7. Ability to take direction and then work independently on multiple issues concurrently, and to exercise independent judgment in establishing priorities
8. Ability to succeed in a fast pace, , entrepreneurial environment while managing multiple priorities
9. Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly
10. Excellent oral and written skills
11. Ability to adapt to highly diversified and changing environment, as well as the dynamics and challenges of a business start up
12.
