Description :POSITION PURPOSEPerforms direct patient care within the scope of the Licensed Practical Nurse Act. Reports to and directly assists the Registered Nurse in providing total patient care of adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. Assist in the identification of the basic needs of the patient. Contributes to the individualization of patient care. Join us if you are one.POSITION QUALIFICATIONSEducation:Must be a graduate of an approved school of nursing as evidenced by verification of state licensure.Diploma or transcripts from nursing program required upon hire.Experience:One year of experience in a hospital or medical environment preferred.Licenses/Certificates:Current Tennessee or Compact State licensed practical nurse license required. BLS and ACLS certification required (AHA or Red Cross only). If not ACLS certified on hire, must acquire within one year.Licences & certifications C-AHA ACLS C-AHA BLS Basic Cardiac L-TN-LPN
