- Directs service line financial modeling, quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting process in financial system (i.e. Adaptive), adjust and refine financial templates as necessary to adapt to requirements of the business.
- Owns all financial reporting in Workday Financial including – any adjustments to current templates, creation of new reporting, and process improvement aimed at delivering high quality, timely financial information to support business objectives.
- Manages all expense modeling and transition current solutions to a more scalable platform. Analyze trends in business performance to assist Operations Leadership in optimizing outcomes. Leverage financial models to set appropriate budget targets.
- Partners with Operators to develop strategic plans related to cost control & initiatives, management of business-critical KPI’s (financial and clinical), growth analysis, incentive comp, etc.
- Performs ad hoc analysis using data from various systems and package recommendation into clear and concise presentations.
- Identifies variances, trends, and risk/opportunities through analysis of internal and external data.
- Manages multiple workstreams and collaborate with Operations, Accounting, and other functional areas.
- Leads and improves reporting process to reduce time and assist business in decision-making.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree required. Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience in Finance or a related field required.
- Prior experience and proficiency in financial reporting systems (i.e. Workday Financial) preferred.
- Prior experience with forecasting software (i.e. Adaptive Planning) preferred.
- Prior experience with Power BI or Tableau preferred.
- Advanced financial modeling experience and skills required.
- Ability to formulate complex formulas, PivotTables, charting, data cleansing, etc. in a “easy to read” and comprehend format required.
- Ability to work in ambiguity and manage multiple deadlines required.
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage.
- Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from leaders, team members, investors, and external parties. Strong written and verbal communications. Ability to turn data into information and effectively narrative a story to influence company leadership and peers to take action.
