Regional Quality ManagerEast CoastSummary:The Regional Quality Manager will be responsible for leading the implementation of the QMS (Quality Management System) across assigned plants and rolling out technical and knowledge-based support for all production activities to help analyze, identify, and implement manufacturing and / or business improvements which will improve capability, performance, and Quality.Main Responsibilities:1. Work to improve Quality, Delivery, and cost2. Create and maintain company documents in the form of Quality Manuals, workstation procedures and visual standards.3. Lead plant meetings that promote growth in response in driving down internal and external defects.4. Audit compliance on finished products and implement process corrective actions with manufacturing leadership.5. Review Quality Reports to drive Root Cause/ Corrective Actions into Preventative Actions with proficient read across to other facilities.6. Monitor plant audits and ensure closure of findings in a timely manner.7. Develop Control Plans and Operator check sheets for each new launch and existing process8. Work with Engineering to determine technical capacity and identify risks during new product introduction.9. Analysis of internal and external NCR’s (Non-conformances) to identify and mitigate negative trends.10. Ensure alignment between product verification and testing with supplier and manufacturing floor.11. Training and development of quality team members through indirect reporting.12. Develop and procure gauge list for all operations.13. Apply knowledge of ISO 9001 requirements.14. Leads corrective action and continuous improvement initiatives in alignment with the company’s quality vision and strategy.15. Customer visits as required.16. Review returning non-conforming products as per the RGA process and take corrective actions.17. Record, analyze and distribute statistical information from defects in the system and audit / facilitate action plan (DAILY, WEEKLY, MONTHLY)18. Facilitate non-conformance meetings on a weekly/bi-weekly basis and document corrective actions with responsible personnel to complete tasks.19. Guide cross-functional teams to develop effective production processes.20. Participate in ECR (Engineering Change Request) process such as initiating changes or changes due to non-compliant thus avoiding repetitive non-conformity.21. Develops control and inspection plans for molding and secondary operations as well as incoming materials and components.22. Audit the condition of molds and inform the mold maintenance supervisor on molds needing immediate attention.Minimum experience required:Bachelor’s Degree PreferredIn lieu of degree, 3 to 5 years of experience in a direct or supporting Quality or Continuous Improvement roleMust be able to efficiently multitask, providing support to multiple facilities while in an offsite location.Must be able to integrate with a diverse team & successfully merge in approach & mindset.Must be able to understand & relate to individuals on all spectrums of the skill set to reach Quality goals.Must be hands on, shop floor presence is a requirement for at least 50% of the workday.Specific abilities required:Good communicator (written and orally)Shows Leadership attributesEncourage TeamworkDecision MakingAnalytical mindProblem Solving/ AnalysisTravel ~ 75%Supervision:Plan
