- Determine the most effective maintenance practices for specific equipment or equipment types.
- Utilize Pareto Charts to identify and analyze equipment failures, prioritizing maintenance functions and equipment improvements.
- Utilize failure mode and effects analysis and risk analysis techniques to develop the most cost-effective maintenance strategies for all system components.
- Monitor performance of all equipment systems to determine the effectiveness of the Maintenance Strategies. Upgrade preventive, predictive programs as indicated by performance data.
- Perform root cause analysis on equipment failures.
- Develop strategies to prevent recurrence of failures.
- Implement risk assessment and risk mitigation methodologies (such as FMEA, RCA, or RCM).
- Lead change in equipment risk management and reliability processes
- Review and analyze engineering designs and propose design modifications to achieve reliability and efficiency.
- Evaluate, recommend, and acquire tools for use, including process analysis software, and other physical tools and resources specific to reliability and maintenance improvement.
- Collaborate with production personnel and other departments to gather information and draft reports, and improve equipment, processes, and products.
- Create test parameters and participate in the testing and implementation of engineering solutions.
- Establish continuous improvement plans where efficiency, quality, safety, or service can be improved.
- Lead teams by skillfully managing group discussion, problem solving, and decision making.
- Follow and commit to meet Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) for safety, quality, production, efficiency, and service requirements.
- Follow practices and processes intended to provide safe products that comply with appropriate laws and regulations, meet the company quality standards.
- Follow and commit to safety and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)
- Manage, prioritize, and complete projects or programs of moderate size, scope, and duration.
- Coordinate project work with other engineers, technicians, designers and/or or drafters
- Develop, implement, and maintain a life cycle asset management process for components, equipment, and processes at all facilities.
- Assemble relevant data, a cross-functional review team and facilitate Reliability Centered Maintenance studies to develop Maintenance Strategies for the selected systems.
- MS Office 2010 (Excel, Word, Outlook) and general computer literacy

- Understanding of reliability and improvement concepts, including DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve Control.
- Proficiency in project management related to equipment reliability.
- ISO, II, CAT, CBM, M&RE, 9000, CMRP, CI, CHMM, or NEBOSH
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Chemical), Science, or Technical fields. Mechanical Engineering Degree is preferred.
- 3 to 5 years of process industry related experience with automation control, PLC Ladder Logic programming, HMI design and configure.
- Familiarity with FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis), LEAN principles, RCA (Root Cause Analysis), and RCM (Reliability Centered Maintenance).
50% of time) interacting with maintenance and production teams where it is a hot/cold, dusty, and noisy environment. While in the manufacturing area, required PPE must be worn. Sitting, standing and/or walking up to 8 hours per day. Work schedule is standard for this type of role. This position may require some travel.Join us to shape the future together!
