We call this commitment Care by Design.Job Title: Business Intelligence DeveloperJob Overview:The Business Intelligence Developer will research, design, support and develop integration solutions for our data warehouses. This person will collaborate with the team to ensure availability, performance, security, consistency, and reliability of data/database across multiple systems. This role will report to the Director of Business Intelligence.Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain ETL processes, stored procedures, and data models for the Data Warehouse.
  • Deliver and operate data and information systems including the data warehouse, master data and related integrations.
  • Work with Business Analyst to prepare specification documents.
  • Ensure performance, security, and availability of databases.
  • Help write and optimize SQL statements.
  • Handle common database procedures such as upgrade, backup, recovery, and migration.
  • Conduct data profiling according to pre-defined data quality rules, able to review and interpret results and engage appropriate team members for remediation, develop procedures to cleanse data and/or work with system owners to identify root cause for data quality issues.
Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Business Intelligence Developer, ETL/DW Developer, or Data Engineer.
Skills Requirements:
  • Advanced SQL skills including reading and writing complex SQL, Stored Procedures, and Views.
  • Experience performing ETL, Data Validation, Data Mapping, Data Migration, dimensional modeling.
  • Working experience using SSIS with SQL Server 2016 or above.
  • Management of SQL Jobs, Packages, including migration from Development to Production with validation processes.
  • Experience maintaining and developing dashboards using Power BI.
  • Understanding of Data Warehousing design and modeling concepts.
  • Knowledge of best practices for managing relational databases.
  • Capable of troubleshooting common database issues.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities with special attention to accuracy and detail.
  • Self-starter with a proven ability to take ownership of job responsibilities and ensure successful completion of all projects and requests.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively with all levels of management, including executive and senior management teams.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task in high volume workload situations.
Salary Range:The anticipated salary range for candidates working in Irvine, CA, is $84,000-$105,000.
