- Leads a team of clinicians, care coordinators, therapeutic youth counselors and social workers to build and sustain a trauma responsive youth centric and future focused community of care.
- Supervises, develops, and drives staff quality, compliance, and productivity with:
- Screenings/assessments for substance abuse and mental health disorders.
- Implementation of appropriate treatment plans to meet the individual needs of the youth.
- Teaching, modeling and supervising staff to Agency adopted trauma responsive practices and substance use disorder treatment services including but not limited to: the Aspiranet Core Practice Model, Attachment Regulation and Competency (ARC), Youth Thrive / Strengthening Families Protective Factors Framework, Community Resiliency Model (CRM), Life Space Coaching and Crisis Intervention (LSCI), Professional Assault Crisis Training (ProAct) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
- Youth placement approval based on commonality of need, including whether the youth's presence is adverse to the safety or mental health needs of the youth or other youth.
- Maintains a safe, healthy, and therapeutic environment to contract, licensing and Joint Commission standards.
- Sees that youth client's mental health needs are met, including the arrangement of ancillary services, provision of services with disabilities, and transportation to access services when such services cannot be provided by the STRTP.
- Reviews and approves program documentation and manages staff to productivity, contract and licensing standards.
- Ensures engagement with the child and family team with identifying strengths and the youth's health, educational, religious, recreational, social, emotional and psychological needs which inform the development and implementation and successful transition.
- Directs and debriefs crisis interventions including mobilizing in person, providing support and ensuring actions taken during the crisis are compliant with defined agency care practice standards.
- Ensures compliance to regulatory and fiscal standards including The Joint Commission, Community Care Licensing, Department of Health Care Services, contractual agreements, and Aspiranet policy, procedures, and practices.
- Facilitates multidisciplinary team meetings, staff meetings and individual and group supervisions.
- Actively participates in the annual strategic planning process and development of the strategic plan, program goals, and the development and oversight of the core program budget.
- In concert with Human Resources and Training and Development, provides program talent management with recruitment, orientation, supervision, development, evaluation and performance management.
- Provides on-call emergency support in rotation with other senior management.
- Ensures transportation is provided when necessary for service plan activities and appointments.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Master's or Doctorate in Social Work, or Psychology/Counseling or in a related field
- Licensed with the Board of Behavioral Science (BBS), LMFT, LPCC or Psychologist and qualified to provide Clinical supervision to Master's level interns towards licensure.
- A minimum of two (2) years experience providing SUD services and three (3) years experience providing clinical services to youth with complex trauma.
- A minimum of two (2) years experience in administrative supervision or management.
- Meets all state required conditions of employment as set forth by funder and regulatory body;
- I.e. Fingerprint and Child Abuse Index Clearance, TB/Health Physical, valid CDL and clean driving record.
