Concessions Manager - Student Store Clerk

- Organizes, purchases, and ensures supervision for concession operations.
- Supervises each concession for activities. There are approximately 45 events per year with a variety of hours.
- Prepares and organizes end of season Award Nights for activities.
- Prepares display for apparel sales.
- Creates visually pleasing signage for sales.
- Develops marketing plans in conjunction with the activities director and activities assistant.
- Purchases concession materials and equipment.
- Purchases apparel.
- Works cooperatively with the food service by communicating at least weekly.
- Maintains sanitation, cleanliness, and orderliness of student store and concession operations and equipment.
- Maintains and stocks vending machines daily.
- Prepares deposit receipts for the day as directed by the Activities Bookkeeper.
- Keeps accurate records of time and inventory.
- Takes appropriate action in the event of an emergency.
- Maintains an inventory for concessions and apparel.
- Performs other duties of a similar nature or level as assigned by supervisor.
- Ability to operate and clean equipment according to guidelines and standards.
- Ability to organize and direct work flow.
- Ability to maintain effective professional relationships with staff, students, and parents.
- Ability to follow directions.
- Skill, dedication, and aptitude for working with students.
- Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with people from a variety of culturally diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to maintain student confidentiality.
- Ability to maintain regular and acceptable attendance levels.
- High School diploma or equivalent; OR,
- An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
- Ability to stand on feet for extended periods of time, stoop, bend, lift and carry items up to 40 pounds.
