- Sales Strategy: Contribute to the development of sales strategies and the creation of compelling proposals, focusing on the financial impact and ROI that SAP solutions can deliver for clients.
- Customer Needs Analysis: Work closely with sales teams, lead discovery meetings, understand specific customer needs & business requirements with a Finance focus, perform assessments articulate & propose best-fit solutions and translate challenges into tailored roadmaps.
- Solution Design: Design innovative SAP finance architectures and integrated solutions, focusing on operational efficiency, cost reduction, compliance, and enhanced reporting and analytics capabilities, to solve complex customer challenges.
- Presentations & Demonstrations: Develop compelling presentations and demonstrations, showcasing the value of SAP finance solutions and how Talan's active guidance optimizes their impact.
- Finance Solution Expertise: Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the SAP finance landscape, including core S/4HANA finance modules (FI/CO), SAP Central Finance, treasury solutions, product costing, and other relevant offerings. Guide clients on the value of SAP solutions for streamlining financial processes, improving forecasting, and driving data-driven decision-making.
- Knowledge of SAP Offerings: Maintain a strong understanding of SAP product offerings like RISE and GROW, as well as upgrades/updates relevant to clients' finance functions.
- Technology watch: Stay up to date on the latest advancements and developments in the field of SAP finance solutions, recommending improvements, innovations, and potential migration paths to drive continuous value for clients.
- Significant experience: Minimum of eight (8) to ten (10) years of experience as an SAP architect, with a proven track record of success in pre-sales and designing complex solutions. Willingness to travel within the US when required (up to 10% of the time).
- SAP Certification: SAP certification is strongly preferred.
- Analytical skills: Ability to analyze customer needs, solve complex problems, and design innovative solutions with a focus on quantifiable business outcomes.
- Results-oriented: You are instrumental to the sales team in achieving sales targets and delivering tangible value to clients.
- Team & Relationships: Proven ability to collaborate effectively with sales teams and quickly establish a trusting relationship with clients in a variety of business areas.
- Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders at all levels.
