Setting up machines to run parts as per planning documents.
Operating machines safely to produce component parts, meeting production and quality targets.
Performing in-process inspections and tracking quality using run charts.
Making necessary machine adjustments to maintain product conformance.
Segregating non-conforming products and acquiring consumables from plant stores.
Executing machine changeovers and tooling changes as required.
Communicating effectively with Process or Cell Technicians and Leadership.
Adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety rules.
CNC Machinist Requirements and Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience with manual or Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) Horizontal Lathes.
Preference for candidates with experience in Statistical Process Control.
Proficiency with five to seven-axis horizontal lathes and Fanuc/Siemens Controllers.
Capability to work with tolerances less than 1mm.
