Facilities Intern - Provo - Temporary

- Hours per week are negotiable.
- Typical part-time internship is 20-28 hours per week for up to 6 months.
- Daily schedule is also negotiable, but must be between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday thru Friday.
- Updating and organizing paper (and electronic) construction documents including blueprints, O&M’s and warranties.
- Consolidating business license renewal requests.
- Fine tune work order system in order to better track repair trends and specialty contractor needs.
- Update building square footage allocation sheets.
- Update property insurance allocations to verify SF and content coverages are correct.
- Overview building systems to update PM processes where possible.
- Other duties as needed, which may include hands-on light duty building repairs.
- A college student in Facility Management, Construction Management, Project Management, or related program
- Familiarity with building systems and components
- Effective communication with all levels of the organization
- Self-motivated, organized, professional, and able to handle multiple work assignments
- Proficient with MS Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
- Ability to learn new software quickly
