The registrar will, under the supervision of the Assistant Principal for Academics, perform a variety of complex clerical and organizational duties related to the enrollment, transfer, exams, graduation and/or withdrawal of high school students according to established policies and procedures, along with the execution of various administrative tasks performed in support of the duties of the Assistant Principal for Academics and educational vision for the school. This is part-time position expected to work 20-25 hours per week.Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Manage the import/export/update of student data in PowerSchool
  • Create and manage the school's master class schedule
  • Oversee textbook ordering and relationships with textbook companies
  • Produce report cards, transcripts, schedules and other academic documents
  • Assist students with changing classes over the summer and at the beginning of each academic term
  • Communicate with academic department chairs about teacher assignments and needs
  • Coordinate semester exam schedule, conflicts and retakes
  • Coordinate the administration of AP courses and exams and advanced college credit courses
  • Prepares annual update of the curriculum guide
  • Responsible for academic data in PowerSchool
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in organizational abilities with a strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information.
  • Proficient with Google Suite or similar software with the ability to learn specific education software programs.
Education and Experience:
  • Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
  • At least four years of related experience required.
