  • Identifying opportunities for new business development through following up on leads and conducting research on target clients.
  • New business generation by meeting potential clients to understand needs and providing relevant solutions.
  • Managing the sales process to close new business opportunities.
  • Building strong relationships with the existing portfolio of clients.
  • Meeting and exceeding weekly and monthly activity and revenue targets.
Ideal ProfileJob SummaryWe are seeking a Regional Sales Manager to oversee commercial activities in the Bay Area, CA region. As a key member of the team, you will collaborate closely to drive towards company goals and meet customer requirements. This role involves cultivating key customer relationships, expanding the customer base, and providing comprehensive support to ensure customer satisfaction.Essential Functions
  • Manage commercial activities through direct interactions with customers via visits, presentations, phone calls, and emails.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Director to formulate and execute territory sales plans.
  • Cultivate and enhance relationships with existing and prospective customers.
  • Demonstrate technical proficiency to effectively communicate with customers.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product Development, Technical Support, and other internal teams.
  • Represent the company at tradeshows, association meetings, and networking events.
  • Travel within the territory approximately 40-50% of the time.
  • Undertake additional projects or responsibilities as required.
Minimum Qualifications – Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in biology, biochemistry, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in the bioindustry, including development, manufacturing, or utilization of recombinant proteins.
Preferred Qualifications – Education and Experience
  • Master’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
  • Previous experience in Sales or customer-facing roles.
