OverviewJOB SUMMARYManages the technical design and oversees the support of network hardware, network management software, and data communications equipment/systems of San Antonio Regional Hospital’s local and wide area networks. Provides technical expertise as it applies to servers and systems hardware, operating systems, and general data center operations. Provides long term systems solutions to SARH needs as well as maintaining reliability service level operational standards as dictated by IT management. Must have a good networking background to work closely with Network Engineers.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSEducation: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent amount of applicable certifications, experience, and demonstrable knowledge in the related fields to perform the duties of the position.Experience: Seven years of increasingly responsible work experience in a highly complex network environment in a medium to large-scale enterprise setting, including firewalls, cores, switches, wireless access points, AWS, Azure, and Network Security.Knowledge and Skills: Experience in network infrastructure (working with all aspects or configuring routers and switches), hardware and software upgrades, network protocols, LAN/WAN based networks.License/Certifications: (CCNP) Cisco Certified Network Professional preferred. (CCIE) Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert preferred.Physical Requirements: Must be able to perform the essential physical requirements of the job.PAY RANGE$43.39 - $65.09The posted pay range reflects the lowest to highest pay that was available for this position at the time of posting and may be subject to change. Salary offers are determined by candidate’s relevant experience and skills. For per diem positions, a standard rate is used based on market data and not the candidate’s individual experience.
