Lead Maintenance Technician

- Lead and direct maintenance technicians.
- Mentor and train Maintenance Technicians.
- Plan and accomplish preventative maintenance activities on motors, pumps, robots, conveyor systems and production machines to improve reliability.
- Troubleshooting electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanical systems to the faulty component.
- Observe and test the operation of machinery and equipment to diagnose malfunctions, using voltmeter or other test equipment.
- Analyze test results, machine error messages, and information obtained from operators to diagnose equipment problems.
- Repair and maintain CNC Machines, including Mazak/Makino Machining Centers.
- Repair and maintain the operating condition of all industrial production equipment, including Test Stands and devices used to move, lift or convey product.
- Follow all Safety Rules, including PPE and OSHA.
- At least 5 years of maintenance experience in the manufacturing industries is required.
- 2 years hands-on experience in industrial maintenance, mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical or electronic systems a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret electronic/ hydraulic drawings, schematics, and engineering blueprints to determine problem root causes and implement corrective actions is a plus.
- Ability to read precision measuring instruments.
- Physically capable of prolonged standing and working in awkward positions while performing maintenance.
- Must be well-organized and can prioritize tasks.
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of advanced processing and process equipment specifically around troubleshooting electrical components.
- Able to operate computer and system interface programs and analyze production information.
- Able to follow detailed instructions and procedures to complete required tasks; demonstrate solid work performance with a high level of attention to detail and timeliness.
- Strong team member, train new team members as needed; able to prioritize activities.
- Proficiency with software applications, Microsoft Office, Excel as well as specific programs of SAP, Maximo; able to create reports and document procedures.
