- Administrators the safe, accurate and efficient set up and/or changeover of production equipment tooling and operational parameters, including the use of all personal protective equipment as required per policy including the adherence to Sanoh America’s Lockout/Tagout procedures.
- Performs light maintenance work such as changing tooling or troubleshooting tooling and/or set up issues while also ensuring the equipment is running efficiently and producing good quality parts. Responsible for maintaining tooling inventory levels and reporting when tooling is broken, worn, etc.
- Helps to train other associates as needed; runs production equipment as needed to meet the required demand; and ensures all operators have the necessary material and components to run the required demand.
- Responsible for completing and maintaining appropriate setup and tooling logs and/or records or paperwork.
- This position reports to the Production Supervisor
- This position does not have any direct reports
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work with others.
- Basic math skills, including general understanding of metric length (millimeters)
- Knowledge of SPC; ability to use precise measurement tools (such as micrometers, calipers, and scales)
- Working knowledge of mechanical/electronic processes and basic mechanical aptitude
- Time management skills: ability to prioritize work tasks.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions, procedures, and policies.
- Understanding and adherence to Sanoh America’s company policies and safety procedures, specifically the ability to pass forklift safety and obtain license.
- Ability to use a handheld Radio Frequency (RF) system
- Solid computer skills, specifically ability to use the inventory control system
- Production floor environment, wearing all required personal protective equipment per Sanoh America’s policies.
- Able to travel within the manufacturing area via main aisle ways with periodic entry to tight spaces for detail equipment review.
- Full range of motion including the ability bend, stoop, lift upto 30 lbs and push/pull up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work overtime of varying levels.
