Warehouse Associate – Plumbing & HVAC Industry – Base Salary to 50k/year - Plainview, NY

• Our client, an expert in energy efficiency and a wholesaler/distributor of HVAC and Refrigeration Equipment for over 98 years is looking for an exceptional leader with experience in all aspects of warehouse management.
• The Warehouse Associate will be a crucial member for this team by leveraging their knowledge of warehousing processes and driving results.

• Ability to lift up to 75lbs safely and efficiently.
• Experience and proficiency with UPS, FedEx, and LTL (Less than Truckload) shipping procedures.
• Forklift operation experience and/or certification preferred, but not mandatory.
• Proficient in spoken and written English.
• Demonstrated long-term experience in warehouse operations.
• Familiarity with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems.
• Strong computer literacy and ability to navigate digital systems efficiently.
• Safely handle and move products within the warehouse.
• Assist with loading and unloading shipments using appropriate equipment.
• Process incoming and outgoing orders accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and organization within the warehouse.
• Utilize ERP systems to track inventory, shipments, and orders.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
• Always adhere to safety protocols and procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse space

• Prior experience in a similar warehouse role.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to changing priorities.
• Flexible schedule availability is a plus.
