- Perform experiments and record data according to research protocols.
- Interpret data and assist in judging validity of data. May perform statistical and graphical analysis of data.
- May assist in animal colony management and animal husbandry.
- Apply research principals for less complex assignments.
- Ensure compliance with contract principles, federal regulations, laws and University of Cincinnati (UC)/University of Cincinnati Physicians Company (UCPC) policy and operating procedures.
- Maintain regulatory documentation. Assist with preparing IACUC submissions.
- Liaison with laboratory staff, university departments, ancillary departments, and research collaborators
- Synthesize experimental findings by writing presentations and manuscripts
- Disseminate laboratory findings at conferences and in publications

- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Four (4) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.
