Our ALOHA™ and Voltaix® products are critical to the manufacturer of the newest computer chips required for Big Data and the Internet of Things.How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?The Maintenance Technician is responsible for all aspects of repair, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance related to production and engineering operations at Air Liquide Advanced Materials. Included is troubleshooting and repair of equipment associated with all gas manifolds and the associated facility equipment.Shift work that will include nights and weekends and holidays.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily.Installation and/or modification of chemical processing equipment as well as the repair and troubleshooting of auxiliary equipment associated with all chemical processing equipment and other facility equipment.Assist in promoting safety and organization in the maintenance dept.Continues review and updating of Work InstructionsRecommended preventative maintenance intervals based on repair dataResponsible for the execution of the Preventative Maintenance Program and the Monitoring and Measuring Devices Program.Specialize in Engineering improvement construction projects, ensuring that projects have a well-defined scope and schedule which has been reviewed by all affected parties.Recommended spare parts inventory levelsBe able to write Purchase Requisitions for needed partsBe able to perform all component rebuilds and calibrations.Understand and follow the process flow within chemical processing equipment .Understand and perform valid leak checksFollow all work instructions and safety protocolOrganize and sort information using available computer software.Successfully complete all assigned trainingMust be and remain clean shaven at all timesAbility to wear a full face tight fitting respirator and a fully encapsulated (Level A) ER suit, Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA), or any other tight-fitting and/or supplied air respirators (SAR)Ability to roll cylinders- Rolling cylinders requires an individual to tilt a cylinder slightly with one hand, and use the other hand to move the cylinder forward by rolling it.Fitness for duty, including but not limited to: ability to lift 50 pounds and have the ability to climb ladders.Actively participate on ALAM’s emergency response (ER) team including as an ER entry team member, which requires wearing a tight fitting full-face respiratorAre you a MATCH?Required Qualifications:High school diploma or GED3+ years Industrial Maintenance experience, preferably in chemical industry or industry related to fluids systems Gas (Pressure) system component theory and operationAbility to medically pass a respiratory test and physical test in order to wear a full face respirator as requiredFitness for duty, including but not limited to: ability to lift 50 pounds and climb laddersAbility to roll cylinders that weigh up to 200lbs - Rolling cylinders requires an individual to tilt a cylinder slightly with one hand, and use the other hand to move the cylinder forward by rolling it.Able to read and construct from a P&ID or Engineering drawingBasic electronic, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical skillsGeneral Maintenance skillsTube bending skillsEffective communication skillsAbility to roll cylinders- Rolling cylinders requires an individual to tilt a cylinder slightly with one hand, and use the other hand to move the cylinder forward by rolling it.Fitness for duty, including but not limited to: ability to lift 50 pounds and have the ability to climb ladders.Actively participate on ALAM’s emergency response (ER) team including as an ER entry team member, which requires wearing a tight fitting full-face respiratorPreferred Qualifications:Gas (Pressure) system component theory and operationVacuum system component theory and operationPrevious emergency response experience or certificationOur Differences make our PerformanceAt Air Liquide, we are committed to build a diverse and inclusive workplace that embraces the diversity of our employees, our customers, patients, community stakeholders and cultures across the world.We welcome and consider applications from all qualified applicants, regardless of their background.
