- Provides solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity.
- Works under general supervision, and no instructions are needed for routine work. Receives general instructions for special assignments. Work is reviewed for sound technical judgment and overall adequacy.
- Interacts primarily with internal personnel and infrequently with inter-organizational and external customers on routine matters.
- Contributes to the completion of specific project milestones. Failure to achieve results, reaching erroneous decisions or making faulty recommendations may cause delays in program schedules and may result in the allocation of additional resources.
- Makes use of and applies job practices, techniques, standards, principles, theories, and concepts.
- Bachelor’s, Master's or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
- 2+ years of experience working with aircraft structure design or an equivalent combination of technical education.
- 1+ years of experience with composite structures and fuselage stress analysis
- Ability to support regular and emergent domestic or international travel to support our customers. (Willing to travel up to 10% of the time).
- Excellent communication and project management skills, along with the ability to make decisions and deliver results.
- Committed to finding a way to resolve problems and keep commitments.
- Experience working structural activities with Boeing airplanes.
- Experience providing customer support services to airlines.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- 1+ years of experience in Model-Based Engineering (MBE)/ Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), CATIA, ENOVIA and PDM.
