ShareLocated in Greensboro, NCSalary: $16-$18We are recruiting experienced Auto Body Technicians for buffer/paint correction. Recruiting for a leading independent, dealer exclusive auto auction. If hired, this position offers competitive pay, excellent benefits including major medical health insurance, dental, vision, life and 401(k).DUTIES:· This position is responsible for ensuring a quality appearance on refinished panels after paint application by utilizing finishing abrasives, buffing equipment and compounds.· Inspect refinished body panels for proper color match and acceptable finish.· Prepare surface for buffing, utilizing proper finish sanding products and technique.· Maintain OEM paint texture quality standards by buffing refinished panels to standards utilizing buffer, correct buffing technique, compounds and polishes. Inspect vehicle surfaces for overspray and remove as needed.· Remove and clean all compound or polish residue from buffed panels completely and inspect for acceptable finish quality.· Replace and install pin stripes or decals.· Adhere to all safety and health procedures and participate in ongoing training.Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year experience sanding and buffing
Must posse a strong work ethic and be comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
Valid driver’s license
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
Excellent attendance and work habits
