- Lead the design and architecture of our organization's IT systems and networks, including servers, storage, networking, and virtualization technologies.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive system documentation, including system diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
- Infrastructure Management:
- Manage the day-to-day operation of our IT infrastructure, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving system issues and performance bottlenecks.
- Implement and enforce security policies and procedures to protect our organization's data and systems from cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
- Project Management:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and deployments.
- Define project requirements, timelines, and budgets, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Vendor Management:
- Evaluate, select, and manage third-party vendors and service providers, including cloud service providers, hardware vendors, and software vendors.
- Negotiate contracts and service agreements to ensure cost-effective and reliable IT services.
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, including system administrators, network engineers, and support staff.
- Provide guidance, training, and professional development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in IT systems management, with a proven track record of leading IT infrastructure projects and teams.
- Strong technical expertise in system administration, networking, security, and cloud computing technologies.
- Experience with enterprise IT systems, including Windows Server, Linux, VMware, Cisco networking, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and resources effectively.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and motivate team members and stakeholders.
