Then Orgill is the company for you!As a Digital Print Production Operator at Orgill Print Services, you will play a crucial role in our printing operations by operating and maintaining digital printing equipment to produce high-quality print materials. Your responsibilities will include setting up print jobs, monitoring print quality, performing maintenance tasks, and ensuring efficient production processes.You will work closely with the production team to meet customer requirements and deliver exceptional printed materials.Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Operate digital printing equipment, including Wide Format Printers, B&W Printers, and finishing
equipment. * Set up print jobs according to specifications, including selecting appropriate materials, adjustingsettings, and calibrating color profiles. * Monitor print quality throughout the production process, making adjustments as necessary tomaintain high standards. * Perform routine maintenance tasks on printing equipment to ensure optimal performance andtroubleshoot any technical issues that arise. * Collaborate with the production team to prioritize and schedule print jobs, ensuring timelydelivery. * Maintain inventory of printing supplies and materials, reordering as needed to supportproduction requirements. * Follow established quality control procedures to minimize errors and ensure accuracy in printedmaterials. * Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in digital printing to enhance production
efficiency and quality. * Provide assistance to other team members as needed and participate in cross-training activitiesto develop a versatile skill set.Minimum Job Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or vocational training in printing or
related field is preferred. * Proven experience operating digital printing equipment, preferably in a commercial orproduction printing environment. * Strong knowledge of print production processes, including file preparation, color management, and finishing techniques.
  • Proficiency in using printing software and tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite, RIP software, and color calibration devices.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain high levels of accuracy in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Solid problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues effectively
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with colleagues and fulfill customer requirements.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts and adapt to changing production demands.
  • Knowledge of occupational health and safety guidelines
