Job Description:OverviewThe University of MN Masonic Children’s Hospital provides an outstanding focus to family-centered care! We are seeking a dynamic Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist to come join us. This position will serve acute pediatric patients with a variety of diagnoses and provide safe and effective delivery of patient care within scope of practice. This includes examination, evaluation, diagnosis, planning, intervention and establishing outcomes. Staff at the Masonic Hospital are committed to provide families with knowledge and skills to achieve their goals, as well as recognize the importance of families feeling empowered in their care and their expectations at birth.
  • FTE: 0.75 Baylor position, 60 hours/pay period
  • Schedule: Monday and Tuesday 10:00am - 4:30 pm, Friday 8:00am-2:30pm and 2 weekends per month, (Saturday/Sunday) 8-hour shifts.

M Health Fairview Rehabilitation offers a broad range of services that serve patients across 10 acute-care hospitals, 3 post-acute settings and 70 outpatient adult and pediatric therapy clinics. QualificationsRequiredCertification by American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and Speech Language Pathology license in the state of Minnesota, unless in Clinical Fellowship Year (see below)Active Minnesota Basic Life Support certificationSpeech Language Pathologists in Clinical Fellowship Year only:Active temporary license in the State of Minnesota, ASHA member and actively working towards obtaining Certificate of Clinical CompetencePreferred1+ years of experience1+ years of post-graduate Pediatric Speech Language Pathology experienceExperience with pediatric videoswallow studies and infant feeding skills preferred
