Detailed Description:We are seeking dynamic individuals to join our faculty as a Part-Time Online Lecturer in our EdD in Organizational Leadership. This is a unique opportunity to share your knowledge and experience with practitioner doctoral students and help shape the next generation of organizational leaders. We are looking for individuals to develop and then teach a course at least once for our inaugural cohort in the EdD in Organizational Leadership, a three year mostly synchronous online program. We are looking for faculty for the following courses:
  • Foundations of Organizational Leadership
  • Critical Thinking and Research Methods 1
  • Organizational Assessment and Performance Improvement
The ideal candidates will be aligned with the of The School of Leadership and Education Sciences (SOLES) and will reflect our commitment to equity, inclusion, and social justice.Key Responsibilities:
  • Course Development: Design and develop an engaging and informative online doctoral course in one of the above mentioned courses. The course will be delivered in three one credit units, each consisting of a brief a-synchronous component, an evening synchronous component and a full day synchronous component.
  • Teaching: Facilitate online lectures, discussions, and activities that promote a collaborative learning environment.
  • Student Engagement: Provide guidance and support to students, fostering their understanding of the material in applied contexts.
  • Evaluation: Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to support their learning journey.
  • Curriculum Enhancement: Collaborate with academic director and others to continually improve and update course materials to reflect current trends and best practices.

Job Requirements:Qualifications:
  • A Doctorate in a relevant field.
  • A minimum of 5+ years of practical experience in leadership roles in (an) organization(s).
  • Prior experience creating and delivering (online) courses.
  • Positive course evaluations or teaching reviews.
  • Desired: Publications and/or research related to a relevant field.

Posting Salary:$2165-2265 per credit taught; These are part-time, non-benefit based positions.The salary range provided in this posting reflects what we reasonably expect to pay for this position.
