- Extensive experience with ENL strategies and literacy development.
- Extensive knowledge of administration of the NYSITELL and NYSESLAT.
- Extensive experience with integrated ENL classes in the elementary classrooms.
- Bilingual Spanish (preferred)
- Plan, prepare and facilitate lessons to develop students’ language acquisition and literacy for stand-alone and integrated classes.
- Assess students’ performance accurately and regularly; provide thoughtful and meaningful feedback for improvement.
- Establish and maintain an open channel of communication with parents and school personnel.
- Promote a safe and stimulating environment for students.
