- Assist Pipeline technicians as they troubleshoot and complete daily inspections, repairs, per customer standards/procedures.
- Become efficient in understanding applicable pipeline drawings/diagrams.
- Learn how to complete a safe work permit prior to beginning a repair.
- Tasked with a deliverable such as the development of a Safe Work Procedure for a specified task.
- Review/execute inspections/repairs per customer standards/procedures.
- Collaborate with the Control Center while performing maintenance work to mitigate potential nuisance Priority One alarms.
- Learn how to draft cost estimates for reoccurring maintenance work to keep costs within established budgets.
- Create SAP work notifications and prioritize work.
- Become familiar with the Maintenance Execution Process.
- Opportunity to facilitate team meetings and create a safety presentation.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Craft Support Team, Control Center, and Operations to perform maintenance, improve processes, and increase reliability.
- Maintenance of electrical equipment on platform including motor controls, batteries, relays, VFDs, generators, power transducers
- Electrical isolations
- Calibration of equipment
- Regulatory compliance (USCG and MMS)
- Assisting in the development of Electrical maintenance plans
- Strict adherence to all safety standards
- Must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without the requirement of a work visa
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must possess a current, valid license to operate a motor vehicle in the United States
- Must be able to speak, read and write English proficiently
- Willing to work outside in inclement weather with or without accommodation
- Willing to climb ladders, walk up and down steps, and work at heights with or without accommodation
- Willing to work a rotating shift work schedule
- Willing to work overtime, holidays, nights, and weekends
- Willing to be on call and meet call-out standards to respond to site responsibilities and emergencies
- Must currently hold or be able to qualify to receive a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card.
