- Set clear direction, goals, and expectations.

- Complete written evaluations for each direct report once per year that outlines individual strengths and identifies areas needing improvement as well as a plan for improving skills. Meet with directs at least once monthly for review of their performance. Be specific on the overall performance of the direct report in each category. Clearly outline goals for each employee that will impact department goals.
- Work with team members on establishing high-reaching but achievable goals. Maintain a balance between task related goals versus results driven goals
- Understand short-term and long-term goals within Central Team and the Fabs and how they relate to company goals. Assist in driving alignment on RAM related goals across the Fabs using common methods and metrics. Prioritize and align area goals with counterparts’ goals across sites.
- Create and maintain job profiles for each member in your group.
- Recruit top caliber members for the group.
- Drive accountability through clear communication, informal feedback, effective project management, and appropriate usage of metrics.
- Develop performance targets and ensure Line of Sight is communicated to individual contributors.
- Oversee career development of team through the area leadership and ensure succession plans for all key department positions.
- Empower team members, promote teamwork, distribute work and learning opportunities, and provide a line of sight to strategic objectives.
- 5+ years experience in the semiconductor industry in the areas of RDA.
- Previous experience in DRAM is preferred including TD, HVM, and transfer team. Other memory technology or logic/foundry experience will be considered.
- Possess a deep understanding of the DRAM process flow.
- Demonstrated experience overseeing an engineering team (5+ direct reports)
- Success in resolving sophisticated issues.
- Think and communicate clearly in urgent and stressful situations.
