- Evaluates and treats speech-language disorders/disabilities for children and adults, provide appropriate recommendations for treatment and prepares complete and timely reports and documentation.
- Evaluates Speech, Language and Swallowing disorders/disabilities
- Provide therapy for targeted disabilities
- Maintains acceptable patient care productivity
- Completes thorough diagnostic reports and documents daily progress
- Counsels and educates patient/family
- Communicates with other essential medical personnel
- Patients and families, departmental staff, physicians, nurses, other hospital and HHS staff, school and community agency personnel.

- Minimum Education:
- Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Preferred:
- Doctoral Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Required:
- 1-3 years in a healthcare setting; dysphagia experience; may consider CFY candidate.

- NJ Dept of Consumer Affairs Licensure Speech-Language Pathology (or eligible for).
