Maintenance Coordination Engineers support the design, implementation, and optimization of the telco network solution used to provide FTI services. The candidate will collaborate with internal and external teams, work independently on projects to coordinate, and schedule complex installation, maintenance, and repair operations across multiple teams within the FTI organization.Responsibilities:
a. Plan, organize and schedule the installation, maintenance, and repair of FTI telco services as part of the FTI Deployment organization.
b. Develop schedules that support internal and customer requirements and need dates.
c. Work with customers to schedule events by communicating and coordinating field efforts between Company and the Customer.
d. Supports Network Implementation Management with event creation required for coordinating field implementation events.
e. Participate in after action reviews to resolve scheduling challenges.
f. Identify areas of opportunity for automation and network optimization.
g. Manage the Telco design release workflow to meet the implementation schedule.Required Qualifications:
a. Associates or higher degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
b. Highly motivated and capable of developing and following detailed instructions and action plans.
c. Ability to work in a team environment and is self-directed and self-motivated.
d. Project management skills capable of adhering to deadlines and completing tasks per project schedule.
e. Strong skill set with Microsoft Office software applications.
f. Knowledge and understanding of engineering drawings and technical procedures.
g. Domain knowledge of the Telecommunications industry, including carrier services and provisioning terminology.
h. Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance security clearance.
