Every colleague plays a key role in upholding this promise to our patients and their families.Shift: First Shift (United States of America)Perform quality magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures under the supervision of a qualified MRI radiology technologist and radiologist, to ensure accurate and appropriate imaging information for use in diagnosis and treatment. Participate in teaching and research relating to MRI in support of the organizational mission. Demonstrate active involvement in the department.Required Qualifications:
  • Completion of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited program in Radiology required.
  • Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in radiography (R) required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification endorsed by the American Heart Association (AHA) upon completion of unit orientation required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience managing patients in a hospital situation preferred.
  • Ability to manage and interact with patients and families of all age groups preferred.
  • Proficient knowledge of multi-dimensional medical imaging systems, patient transportation devices, and Radiology Information System preferred.
