- Develop and execute a strategic plan to drive awareness, adoption, and preference for Cisco Security solutions in the market.
- Create and deliver compelling presentations, demos, videos, webinars, and other content that showcase the value proposition and differentiation of Cisco Security.
- Engage with customers to understand their needs, challenges, and feedback, and provide insights and recommendations on how Cisco Security can address them.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, engineering, and partner teams to align on the vision, strategy, and roadmap of Cisco Security, and provide technical support and enablement.
- Identify and pursue new opportunities, partnerships, and use cases that expand the reach and impact of Cisco Security in the market.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends, technologies, and threats in the security domain, and continuously update and enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Owns development of proposals that address complex opportunities with input from Solutions Architects.
- Owns the development of high-level designs for solutions presented with input from Solutions Architects.
- Identifies customer business and technical requirements for all opportunities.
- Obtain and maintain required vendor certifications as required to support Insight certification requirements or goals.
- Reports to management on a weekly basis an accounting of time engaged in pre-sales activities, professional development, and company initiatives.
- Actively tracks opportunities being worked on, providing leadership a weekly report on the revenue, gross profit and services associated with the efforts of the Architect.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in security architecture, engineering, consulting, or sales.
- Deep knowledge and expertise in Cisco Security products, solutions, and services, as well as the competitive landscape.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills, with the ability to tailor the message to different audiences and levels.
- Strong leadership, influence, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and organizations.
- Passion, creativity, and enthusiasm for security and technology.
- Certifications such as CCIE, CCNP, CISSP, CISM, or CISA are preferred.
