- Manage Special and Capital projects as assigned by the Engineering Manager. Supervise contractor work, track spending vs. budget, and coordinate work with production departments. Create timelines, work orders and purchase orders. Complete required Engineering documentation including Commissioning/Decommissioning forms, new equipment setup requests, Scope of work, etc.
- Assist other project managers in the implementation of PLC control processes in new projects.
- Provide analysis and technical support to production operations. Understand facility controls requirements. Improve production performance. Provide long term solutions to facility issues. Assist with Maintenance.
- Create Request for Quote (RFQ) documentation for quote requests, locate equipment vendors and contractors suitable for the project, manage the vendor selection process, create and submit AFE to obtain capital funding for projects.
- Provide/source training for Maintenance Technicians – PLCs, drives, servos, etc.
- Identify gaps, analyze processes and ensure appropriate backup documentation is maintained. Work with corporate IT-OT, site license, etc. as needed.
- Support the Pernod Ricard Safety Culture, Quality and CI initiatives and report any risk or concerns to department management. Work with site and corporate teams to fix and improve all areas.

- Internal: Engineering/Maintenance Manager, Engineering Supervisor, Maintenance Supervisor, Department Managers, Project Managers, Maintenance Technicians and Accounting.
- External: Service providers and equipment manufacturers, Engineering partners.
- Financial Responsibility: Limited- Participates in goal setting and accountable for own, limited budget or asset administration and goals.
- Minimum of five years’ experience with control processes.
- Proficient in Programming Logic Controllers (PLC).
- Experience in Design/Drafting tools and CAD.
- Experience with configuring and designing HMI/OIT systems.
- Familiar with Industry Standards UL and CE.
- Familiar with Vision Systems (e.g. Cognex).
- Experience with various Motion Controllers/Actuators.
- Experience and skill in troubleshooting control system issues and electrical systems issues.
- This position requires strong skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, project planning, coordination with contractors, maintenance and other departments, and excellent communication skills.
- Must work well with other employees, be a creative thinker, results oriented, focused and have a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Organizational skills are essential to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks.
- Knowledge of industrial equipment such as conveyors, pumps, filtration systems, cleaners, fillers, cappers, labelers, packers, material handling systems, etc.
- Knowledge and understanding of safety hazards and appropriate precautions as defined by OSHA safety regulations.

- Physical/Skilled Labor: Work is performed in a general production area and/or office environment with regular demands for moving, lifting/carrying/lowering up to 50 pounds, standing, walking, climbing, and pushing. Normal visual, hearing and language acuity required for correspondence and computer usage.
