This position is located at Department of Mental Health/Columbia Area Mental Health Center-Medical Services, CAMHC #586.Under general supervision, within one or more assigned locations, provides clinical services within the scope allowed by the collaborative agreement to include both initial evaluation of new patients, when allowed by privileges, and ongoing management of established adult patients utilizing the latest evidenced-based treatment modalities and pharmacotherapy options as indicated. Prescribes psychotropic medications according to written protocols, and monitors medication for compliance and potential side effects.Collects, organizes, and records data and information in each patient's medical records according to quality assurance standards, CARF guidelines, and corporate compliance standards.Will regularly attend and participate in treatment team meetings and staffing's with collaborative/supervising physician.Provides appropriate consultation to courts and other agencies consistent with program priorities and as allowed by the collaborative agreement, laws governing scope of practice and center privileges.State Requirements: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing at the master's level or doctoral level acceptable to the Board to include clinical experience. Licensed as a registered nurse and certified as nurse practitioner by the South Carolina Board of Nursing.Agency Requirements: A master's degree in nursing from an accredited school of nursing and licensed as an Advanced Practice Nurse by the State Board of Nursing for South Carolina, practicing in the extended role with prescriptive authority in the state of South Carolina.Note: When Agency Requirements are indicated, applicants must also meet the Agency Requirements.Supplemental questions are considered part of the application.
