- Install electrical equipment following the guidelines of the NEC
- Demonstrate proficiency in bending conduit
- Collaborate with a team to complete all tasks related to solar installations, such as job preparation, roof layout, racking, attachment, and system monitoring
- Maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with customers and team members
- Ensure a safe work environment by strictly following Solar Impact and OSHA safety protocols
- Keep tools and parts organized within the installation vehicle
- Safely operate and maintain company vehicles and equipment
- Engage in the Electrical Apprenticeship program
- Participate in safety and solar installation training, both online and in-person
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth and efficient project progress
- Evaluate completed projects to identify areas for enhancing efficiency
- Meet attendance and punctuality requirements set by Solar Impact
- Willingly work overtime, nights, and weekends when necessary to meet project demands
- Travel and work out of town as needed
- 3 to 5 years of prior electrical experience and/or participation in the Electrical Apprentice program
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to work at great heights
- Capable of prolonged periods kneeling, bending, crouching, and climbing ladders
- Able to work on feet for 10-hour periods
- Able to lift at least 75 pounds at a time
- Able to wear PPE in the performance of some duties (e.g., harnesses, hard hats, gloves, masks, ear protection, etc.)
- Able to work in extreme hot/cold temperature conditions
- Available to work overtime and weekends as required
- Valid driver's license and insurability required
- Able to attend classes at night
- Must perform work in a safe manner resulting in no accidents
