Facility Maintenance Technician

- With minimal supervision - Troubleshoot, plan, modify, and repair/rebuild all types of plant equipment
- With minimal supervision - Perform basic electrical troubleshooting, repair and construction as required
- With minimal supervision - Repair and test equipment to assure satisfactory performance
- Serve as a mentor to lower level Maintenance Technicians
- Work from ladders, lifts, elevated places as required
- Submit requisitions for repair / replacement parts as necessary
- Keep equipment, maintenance shop and job sites clean and in orderly condition
- Using CMMS system document daily work completed, report job outcomes, and supplies used
- Work in accordance with OSHA and Customer safety policies and procedures
- Contribute to a positive work environment and promote overall team effort
- Focus on meeting and exceeding customer expectations
- Responsibilities involve a definite degree of skill, accuracy and cooperation
- Possess a thorough understanding of customer policies and procedures
- Ability to complete concise and accurate documentation
- Promote safety awareness and assure compliance with all safety practices

- General mechanical knowledge including pump and piping repair, basic electrical, HVAC, Fork lifts, skid-steer, etc.
- Ability to read prints, schematics, manuals, etc.
- Must be able to pass all OSHA Training.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant work related experience preferred
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Physical Requirements- Must be able to lift up to 80 pounds.
- Job requires sitting, standing, and bending for approximately 6-8 hours on a daily basis.
- Must be flexible and available to work overtime and odd hours, including some weekends and Holidays.
