Description:Develop, implement and evaluate effectiveness of policies and proceduresResponsibilities will include providing services in the office as well as at athletic eventsResponsibilities will also include castingEvaluate extent of patient’s/athlete’s injury/illnessProvide immediate treatment, rehabilitation and reconditioning of injuryPerform in office follow up visitsDetermine the individual’s readiness to participate in activitiesEducate athletes, parents, coaches and administration on safe facilities and protocolsAdvise on the appropriateness and safety of equipmentDevelop effective interventions to reduce injuries and illnesses for athletesHelp identify at risk individualsAssist with pre-season physicalsWork with treatment team, patient, and family to ensure coordinated outcomesProvide referrals as neededComplete documentation accurately and timelyEducation/Experience:Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training or related field requiredMaster’s Degree preferredGA license or license eligibleATC or eligibleCurrent CPRMinimum of two years of experience preferred
