(Contingent upon available funding):15.75 - 19.50, HourlyWork Schedule:generally 8 am to 5 pmFaculty Appt Period:Job Summary:Responsible for feed and care of university and client owned animals. Responsible for general maintenance of buildings and equipment. This position is heavy in manual labor and requires the physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and in excess of 75 pounds occasionally. Inherent physical danger when working in livestock (farm) setting. Majority of duties are performed outdoors; conditions are typical of livestock (farm) operations. Daily interaction with stallions.Special Instructions to ApplicantsPlease submit resume and 3 references with application.Education & ExperiencePosition Qualifications:Required Qualifications:High School/GED and three years related work experience. Valid Driver's License. Must have experience in equine husbandry, welding, carpentry, and mechanical maintenance.Preferred Qualifications:High School/GED and five years related work experience. Two years of college or technical training.
