There are also opportunities to continue your career at GE in Clearwater or across the globeBenefits: Our range of benefits includes health care starting on day one, 401 (k) savings plan with generous employer match, paid time off and moreEducation Assistance: GE encourages employees to continue their education and provides financial support to further employee learningWork environment: Grand Rapids climate-controlled facility offers onsite gym, cafeteria, Employee concierge service, tuition reimbursement, free parking with a great location close to 28th street.Roles and Responsibilities:Role Summary:Operating both booth air and gravity paint sprayer, with High Pressure-Low volume painting and standard paintingApply epoxy based, polyurethane, and enamel paintsApply touch up epoxy based, polyurethane, and enamel paints as required to ensure bare metal on customer repairs is touched up with paint or other appropriate materialConformal coating of printed wiring cardsMix paints, preform viscosity testing, and adjust equipment to meet specificationsCreate nameplate/labels on various media and adjust equipment to meet customer work instruction and drawing specificationsEssential ResponsibilitiesIn addition, you will:Facilitate movement of product into and out of the repair shopWork from manufacturing work instructions and read blueprintsEligibility Requirements:2 years’ experience in a production spray painting environment is preferredHigh School Diploma or GEDUS CitizenDesired Characteristics:Self-MotivatedKeen attention to detailProficient with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, and PDF Viewers.Excellent attendance historyAbility to produce error free productsStrives to meet or exceed job requirements*** This is a general description only of a posted job classification.
