- Manages the daily operations and delivery of services by FS carpentry staff. Reviews and prioritizes work assignments to meet fluctuating demands.
- Provides coaching, education, consultation, training and evaluation of staff performance
- Oversees schedules and work for designated trade to ensure proper distribution of assignments and efficient utilization of FS staff, space and facilities.
- Monitors compliance, investigates variances and provides plans for remediation
- Conducts ongoing quality improvement activities to enhance the delivery of services
- Collaborates with leadership to ensure established goals are met.
- Reviews and comments on new construction plans, specifications and submittals. Inspects renovation and construction projects.
- Conducts safety meetings and inspections to ensure compliance with applicable code requirements, safety procedures, healthcare regulatory standards and industry best practices.
- Maintains required records and reports; calculates amounts of tools, equipment and supplies required to complete projects.
- Monitors expenses and identifies cost-saving opportunities and work to optimize resource allocation.
- Collaborate with external vendors/contractors for specialized maintenance and repair projects ensuring adherence to healthcare standards and budgets.
