- Support the development and execution of communications that tell the company’s story to customers and other key audiences.
- Serve as a strategic partner to leaders, teams, and functions across the company with a focus on building trusted relationships.
- Engage with subject matter experts and key internal stakeholders throughout the content development process to help deliver consistent, on-brand messaging a customer can easily understand.
- Thrive in a collaborative team-based environment while also working independently.
- Develop clear, concise, and customer-friendly content across multiple channels such as letters, emails, SMS and other digital applications.
- Demonstrate a detail-oriented approach to manage and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, including the ability to work on multiple projects and consistently meet deadlines and achieve desired results.
- Ability to be a team player, with a flexible and positive attitude in a fast-paced environment with continuous change.
- Contribute to the development of best practices, methodologies and new offerings.
- Ensure all deliverables meet our high editorial standards for quality, clarity, accuracy, spelling and grammar.
- Develop new ideas to support the department’s overall content marketing strategy.
- Continually track, measure, evaluate and improve communication efforts that lead to better customer experience.
- Excellent English writing skills, including a mastery of spelling and grammar. Bilingual Spanish or French a plus.
- Command of AP style rules and adherence to individual brand styles when required.
- Knowledge of organizational communication, B2C and B2B marketing theories and practices.
- Experience with digital and print communication and correspondence processes.
- Knowledge and experience marketing through social channels.
- Knowledge of SEO principles including keyword research.
- Knowledge of the auto finance industry a plus.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and balance multiple initiatives using effective time management skills while maintaining high-quality work.
- Ability to identify and reach specific audiences and their needs.
- Confidence to make informed, independent decisions.
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly proficient with basic software applications (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, internet, email, etc.).
- Experience with Adobe Workfront, Airtable or Miro a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills to interact with all levels of team members and management.
- Good presentation skills.
- Highly developed writing and editing skills with an understanding of nuanced writing styles used online and in correspondence.
- Social media savvy.
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent professional experience, in technical writing, mass communications, public relations, journalism, marketing communications or related discipline.
- 3-5 years agency, technical writing, marketing communications or corporate communications experience, including internships.
