This is a paid internship for someone currently in college looking for work this spring/summer. Ideal field of study is in Business, Engineering, Math, or other sciences in 1st-3rd year of school. We can consider recent graduates as well.This role supports the Technical team by performing trials, testing, and recording data for new processes and product improvement projects.MAJOR TASKS
Perform plant trials and record data.
Audit incoming, in process, and finished goods material.
Assist with Corrective Action Process
Perform physical testing at Timber Products Medford Particle Board lab and record data.
Perform process improvement trials at Yreka
SKILLS REQUIRED
Ability to use Microsoft office products including Word/Excel
Good driving record to use pool car to commute between Medford and Yreka as needed.
Ability to record data
Ability to use micrometers/dial indicators etc.
Must be able to work on concrete floors for extended amount of time (up to 8-hours).
Perform manual tasks as needed.
