The Director of Workforce Development & Culture is integral to Dothan Housing's (DH's) senior leadership team. The position is responsible for workforce development, staff training, Section 3, YouthBuild, volunteer management, human resources, and strategic planning for DH and its instrumentalities. The Director of Workforce Development & Culture provides internal training and educational events to support the professional development of staff to increase the agency's capacity, knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSAs). The position oversees change management initiatives and staff training, cross-training, and other professional development to create a high-value organizational culture. The position also oversees the Resume, Interviewing, Soft Skills, Education (R.I.S.E.) workforce development program for residents and HCV participants, along with the Ready to Work (R2W) education.The Director of Workforce Development & Culture oversees the agency's three-year strategic plan, Purpose 2025: FY2022-2024. This position plays a significant role in helping DH and its instrumentalities meet key performance indicators (KPIs) to increase overall productivity and performance. The Director of Workforce Development & Culture assists senior and executive leadership with implementing the organization's overall business plan and strategic direction.
