Join our team as an Export Compliance and Information Security Coordinator and play a vital role in ensuring compliance, protecting sensitive information, and enabling seamless engineering operations at Boeing.Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking Associate or Mid-Level Export Control and Information Security Coordinators to support our team in Everett, WAOur team is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate (Level 2), Mid-Level (Level 3) Coordinators.Position Responsibilities:
  • Gain a deep understanding of export license regulations and requirements to ensure compliance with international trade laws.
  • Oversee Boeing's information security requirements, including safeguarding sensitive data and implementing security protocols.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable smooth and efficient engineering operations by managing statements of work.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis to stay up to date with evolving regulations and industry best practices.
  • Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on export license, information security, and statement of work matters.
  • Ensures technical content is timely, coordinated and accurate.
  • Begin development and training path to become an Authorized Individual (AI) with the authority for analyzing an item and processing export classification using the Order of Review.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
  • Strong knowledge of export license regulations and international trade laws.
  • Familiarity with information security principles, practices and standards.
  • Experience in managing engineering statements of work or similar project coordination responsibilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with cross functional teams and leadership.
Typical Education & Experience:Associate: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.Mid-Level: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years’ related work experience).
