Visit us at .You Are:UST is looking to hire a Paralegal for our busy Contracts Team to provide administrative support for customer contracts.The Opportunity:Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:Review drafts of various agreements as directed by attorneys, obtain feedback on draft agreements from various stakeholders, and provide consolidated comments to the relevant stakeholdersPerform administrative duties including creating, preparing, proofreading, verifying, and editing material for accuracy and clarityPerform research and support activities to assist attorneysUnderstand and work with complex business-related legal documentsCreate abstracts of agreementsProcess fully approved contracts for signature and maintain executed agreements in the repositoryProactively assist attorneys and other paralegals in responding to various commercial matters as they come inManage and support contract legal management tools to provide timely assistance in the review, drafting, and negotiation of various contract mattersTrain internal customers on company contracting processes and proceduresEstablish and main filing systems, classified, sorts and files correspondence, records, media clips, and other documentsUtilize advanced computer skills to prepare complex correspondence, reports, charts, tables, graphs, and formsCoordinate with various stakeholders in different departments to ensure compliance with company policy in all customer contractsCollaborate across functional teams and foster a collaborative environmentWork independently to manage and complete department functions and prepare Statements of Work, amendments, correspondence, reports, and other documents as neededProvide administrative support to the team’s leadership as neededWork independently with minimal supervisionUse discretion and judgmentOrganize workload to reflect and meet established prioritiesHandle confidential information professionally and consistently with legal and ethical policiesConsummate team player with a can-do attitudeWhat you need:Require 5+ years in the legal area, preferably in contract reviewExperience in a supervisory role is an assetSuperior writing and oral communication skillsExcellent attention to detail with the ability to multi-taskMust be self-motivated and able to meet deadlines under pressureMust have the ability to work as part of a team, as well as work independentlyWork with diverse groups and reach a consensusAble to multi-task and work under pressureExcellent time management skillsAble to adapt to new technologyProficient in Microsoft Office SuitePeople skills including good judgment and tactAssociate degree or equivalent experienceBonus points if:Paralegal certification preferredCompensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience.
