This person needs to possess a strong passion for sales and enjoys working in a fun impulsive category. Russell Stover is looking for a candidate capable of leading Walmart’s Seasonal confections categories. The Ideal candidate will be comfortable interfacing with buying teams in a fast-paced CPG environment. We are looking for an individual with a strong analytical skill set capable of planning, forecasting, and analyzing consumption trends. The role will be reporting to the Team Lead for Walmart and SAM’s Club.What you will be doing…
Account Responsibilities: Walmart Seasonal growth and manage Walmart.com in partnership with Digital Team
Develop trusted relationship with Walmart buying team
Build Consumption and Revenue forecasts
Consult with Demand planning on Inventory management
Analyze sales data to identify strategies and sales opportunities
Responsible for growing net sales growth with accurate forecasting and planning
Effectively manage Seasonal trends, sell through and consumption
Develop and execute line review presentations to meet current and future objectives
Collaborate with cross functional experts in Marketing, Demand Planning and Category
Do you have what it takes?(Basic Qualifications)
5+ years of experience in a combination of sales, category, or replenishment
Prior direct account management experience
Strong communication skill set
Passion for learning the confection category
Do you stand above the rest?(Preferred Qualifications)
Prior Walmart Sales Management/Analytic experience, preferably in seasonal goods with snack or confection categories
Demonstrates leadership and high ethical standards
Experience with promotional planning/deduction management
Managing cross-functional projects with Marketing, Finance and Demand Planning
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong analytical and computer skills
Account penetration using sophisticated analysis
Effective story building and public speaking for internal/ external presentations
