Industrial Hygiene Technician

- Field Work
- Work closely with Senior Project Managers and Project Managers on existing Client Projects.
- Solid base knowledge of multiple aspects of Industrial Hygiene and Health & Safety and Building Science.
- Experience performing various Industrial Hygiene services to include, but not limited to project scopes for: water testing, asbestos/mold/lead, worker exposure monitoring, noise, indoor air quality.
- Perform and collect field measurements using a variety of monitoring and sampling equipment.
- Maintain thorough and legible field notes.
- Assist with business development.
- Develop technical reports, and present findings and recommendation.
- Develop budgets, write proposals and manage project budgets.
- Communicate effectively with Senior Project/Project Managers, staff, clients and contractors.
- Follow Atlas directives and standards.
- Other projects as assigned.
- Practice and maintain a safe working environment.
- Valid driver’s license, must meet qualifications to successfully be processed for DISA/Drug-Alcohol Testing
- Minimum 2 to 5 years’ experience of technically sound consulting experience conducting Industrial Hygiene and
- Building Science projects
- Asbestos/Mold Survey, Exposure Monitoring Experience, Noise Monitoring Experience
- Field Work is required
- Reliable transportation
- Technical writing skills
- Microsoft PC applications; WORD, EXCEL
- Background in Industrial Hygiene and Building Science related practices.
- Knowledge with various Industrial Hygiene and Building Science related sampling equipment and protocols.
- Field Work 80%
- Ability to travel some over night, 25%
- Other - AHERA Asbestos or TDSHS Asbestos and/or Lead licenses and TDLR Mold licenses are a plus
