- Lead the implementation of core curriculum instruction in relevant subject area
- Provide opportunities for learning differentiation including but not limited to experiential learning, project learning, and group learning
- Collect and reflect on classroom and school level data to improve outcomes
- Create and execute special topic seminar learning focused on teacher area of interest with the aim of expanding curricular content and offerings
- Contribute to departmental structure and curriculum development
- Contribute to grade level team meetings, including data reflection and action planning
- Bachelor's degree in education, youth development, or relevant field required, masters preferred
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator's License (or out-of-state equivalent preferred)
- Passion to improve the minds and lives of students in and out of the classroom
- Proven track-record of high achievement in the classroom
- Mastery of and enthusiasm for academic subject
